Reading

Reading has always been one of my favorite activities. In many ways it is just much better than watching TV because it lets you imagine the setting, how the character you are reading about looks, talks and everything in between. A movie picture or show doesn't allow this, the imagination part has already been done by somebody else.

However I do like whenever a book is adapted to the big screen when I have already read the book, for example 1984 or Perfume. In that way you did the imagination part, but somebody else shared what they thought about the written play.

In other news, today I met with my dad over at Baristas in Gallerias Prima, order the Chai Ti Decaf Tee with milk, and let me tell you, boy was it good. Please comment if you have read a book and seen the movie afterwards. Bye!

I've Been Caught Having An Affair

I just started working with my little sister on some internets businesses of mine. Because of Telgua's incompetence my home has been left out of the Internet's magic. So I have been working out of my Villa Nueva's apartment.

Yesterday my next door neighbor was outside with her baby girl taking the sun, when my sister and I came to start our intensive week of hard work. When she left for college "someone" had written on the hood of her car "Soy Una Puta".

So people this is a lesson for you all, you need to get a hot sister so people thinks you are able to get women. AMEN

Changed My iGoogle Theme Today

I have been watching the tv series Big Bang Theory, and it has inspired some appetite for science. So the first thing that came to mind was the Hubble Telescope.

I'm also looking for a review site template.

Life is a Dream

Row, Row, Row your XSMG Speedboat, and cruise it along the circumstances that surround you.

Been having lots of fun this week, fixed my laptop (spent $100 on the charger cable! that sucked) and actually accomplished stuff. Played some guitar last week, hopefully will get to do it again soon (you know who I'm talking to).

Hope you are doing all good, hope to hear from you in the comments, bye!

A perfect....

It would be nice to have something perfect. No one has seen something perfect in our lifetime, even the greatest artistic masterpiece will have some type of defect. I guess learning how to live knowing that there is no perfect thing is a part of existence.

Lack of sleep

Staying up all night sucks! But in my case it is the sound of inevitability. The thing works like this the more work is required on the computer the higher the chances of staying awake all night. Yesterday night was one of those that going to sleep was simply impossible.

Reading on the computer makes you sleepy according to Sara, but for me is just the contrary, going to sleep after being in front of my computer screen reading and specially if I have some important task to do just makes me think more, therefore going to sleep gets really hard, than graving a book and actually going to sleep.

This is because the internet has short burst of intense information with a lot of different types of media to get the point across, such as articles, videos, sounds, animations and pictures. This just makes the brain work a lot more to precess it all, and in my case making my brain go in synapse overload, killing all chances of getting a good nights sleep.

In a more lighter note, this song is really amazing (hope you sleep well tonight!), enjoy:

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy Review Part II

Sorry for the delay, I know it was supposed to be finished last week, but what can I tell you, I'm lazy. But anyways, after they get into the ship the president stole named S.S. Heart of Gold they go around the galaxy searching for a super computer built to answer the Ultimate Question, what is the meaning of Life.

Oh by the way they do find it, just to learn the meaning of life is 42, yep 42 (you got to give it up for the Monty Python Crew for that one) and find out another extraordinary secret (this one I'm not giving up).

In conclusion this is a weird but very witty movie that will catch your imagination, if you like sarcasm this is the right pick for you, but it also has everything else, romance, adventure and a maniac depressive robot. Hope you enjoy it.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

This is a movie I heard about while in training at Transactel, some guy was reading the book and it seemed interesting, and being who I am the next thing to do was to search in wikipedia (Way before I was hooked on youtube) and read all about it. Turns out it has quite a following, specially in the UK, after all it was created there by a guy named Douglas Adams with a bunch of people from Monty Python, certainly that explains why the movie is so weird.

Two years had passed and I was unemployed and depressed (But with Broadband connection nonetheless) and suddenly it came to mind this movie, so I went ahead and saw it online here. Let me tell you it was incredibly funny, totally meaningless as most of the comedy from England.

It tells the tale of an English twit played by Martin Freeman (yes I use those words) that saved Mos Def without knowing he was an alien , getting in return a ride on a ship that was part of a convoy of star-ships that are making way (by demolishing the Earth) for an Intergalactic Highway.

This is the beginning of a journey that will take him around the Universe with the Galactic President played by Sam Rockwell, Zooey Deschanel who plays the leading actress role as the president's assistant and my personal favorite Marvin the maniac depressive robot.

WILL BE CONTINUED TOMORROW......
