Reading

Reading has always been one of my favorite activities. In many ways it is just much better than watching TV because it lets you imagine the setting, how the character you are reading about looks, talks and everything in between. A movie picture or show doesn't allow this, the imagination part has already been done by somebody else.

However I do like whenever a book is adapted to the big screen when I have already read the book, for example 1984 or Perfume. In that way you did the imagination part, but somebody else shared what they thought about the written play.

In other news, today I met with my dad over at Baristas in Gallerias Prima, order the Chai Ti Decaf Tee with milk, and let me tell you, boy was it good. Please comment if you have read a book and seen the movie afterwards. Bye!

You told me about "The Perfume" and knowing the end, never wanted to read the book or watch the movie. With Orwell is different. I watched the movies only. Happly "1984" and "The Farm" where great movies and I thought at the moment that I understood the point.

In lesser Literature, I read "The Da Vinci Code" and that is why I didn´t like the movie, same happened with Harry Potter, but instead, I watched first "The English Patient" in 1996 when it won 9 Oscars, then, in 2009 I finally read the book, witch is different but great.

Nice the Chai Tea, I like better Rooibos Tea, is South African, but now you can have it in Guate.
Cheers man.
